‘Botch’ From Champion During Opening Of AEW Revolution 2024 AEW

In the entrances for the opening match of AEW Revolution Zero Hour, a notable “botch” that appeared to be a part of a storyline.

For now the third entrance in a row, there has been a flub from Max Caster during his rap.

While it was unclear if the first instance a couple of weeks ago was staged or a legitimate mistake – as at the time the theme hadn’t been established – the second two have been quite clearly intentional.

On last night’s episode of Collision, Jay White seemed to purposefully distract Caster during his pre-match rap to cut him off, whereas tonight, Caster was able to get through several lines before he stopped with no .

With commentary even taking note of the Acclaimed star’s “case of the yips”, it seems that regardless of whether or not the first flub was real, the storyline is now leaning into it.

In the end, the Bang Bang Scissor Gang, of which Caster is a member, was victorious over their opposing team that consisted of Private Party, Willie Mack, Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh and Jay Lethal.

In a post-match promo to the crowd, BBSG’s Jay White had one final tease to finish off the segment.

Noting that in two weeks at AEW Big Business (March 13 in Boston) he would have some ‘big business’ of his own, fans are already wondering if Jay White was making reference to another potential new signing, in addition to the expected arrival of Mercedes Mone.

AEW fans continue to await the arrival of likely-signing former NJPW star Kazuchika Okada, with some theorizing that’s who White was making reference to.
