AEW Star Claims 2024 Will Be His Year Following Major Win AEW

AEW star Andrade El Idolo has claimed that 2024 will be his year following a major victory over Bryan Danielson.

On the December 9 edition of AEW Collision, Andrade El Idolo defeated Bryan Danielson to earn three points and six points overall in the AEW Continental Classic.

The bout saw Andrade go to unsavory means to proclaim a win, including attacking the broken orbital bone of Danielson on several occasions.

Following this victory, AEW cameras caught up with Andrade El Idolo and his manager CJ Perry to get their thoughts following the biggest win for El Idolo of his AEW career. Andrade said:

“I have been waiting three years for this opportunity. I told you 2024 is going to be my year. The year of El Idolo. The year of the real Latino man. No one will stop me,”

Claiming that her client is now the greatest wrestler in the world after beating Danielson, Perry said:

“This is the reason why I negotiated an extra bonus for him to come into the tournament.”

“Tonight he beat the greatest wrestler in the world, which makes him Andrade the greatest wrestler in the world. No one’s gonna stop him.”

Andrade El Idolo, Bryan Danielson and Brody King all currently stand at six points overall in the Blue League of the AEW Continental Classic tournament.

The Gold League will continue on this Wednesday’s December 13 Winter Is Coming episode of AEW Dynamite when Jon Moxley faces Swerve Strickland, RUSH faces Jay Lethal and Jay White will battle Mark Briscoe.
