Chants for former AEW World Champion MJF break out during Triple H’s WWE WrestleMania 40 weekend appearance.
As previously reported, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque appeared on a special live edition of The Pat McAfee Show at WWE World during WrestleMania 40 weekend.
During the interview, “The Game” seemingly fired off a shot at current AEW star and former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay.
Later in the interview, fans started to chant the name of another AEW star MJF loudly while Triple H was speaking.
Levesque did not acknowledge the chants despite he and Pat McAfee making references to the promotion during the appearance.
Triple H did address his potential in-ring WWE return following his retirement in 2022, which you can read here.
MJF has been absent from AEW programming since losing the AEW World Title to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End in December 2023.
After complete social media silence from MJF since that loss to Samoa Joe, the former world champion jumped back on Twitter to send a message to WWE’s Final Boss The Rock – click here for full details.
