Popular AEW star Dax Harwood has recalled his classic WWE bout ahead of AEW Dynamite in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Toronto is one of the most known and popular pro wrestling cities in the entire world, and All Elite Wrestling returns to the city on the March 20 Dynamite.
The city holds great meaning to so many stars on the AEW roster, including Adam Copeland and Christian Cage who will meet in a I Quit Match on the broadcast.
However, another former WWE star reminded fans of one of their classic battles from the other promotion ahead of the show.
On March 20, FTR’s Dax Harwood took to social media to post a photo and recall the duo’s classic with DIY at NXT TakeOver: Toronto in 2016. He wrote:
Toronto will always be special to me. I wish we were there to celebrate with all of yall tonight, because I have a feeling Dynamite is going to be one to remember.
FTR isn’t currently scheduled to appear on tonight’s AEW Dynamite or Rampage broadcasts, but the tandem is currently in the AEW World Tag Team Title Tournament and will face The Infantry in the quarterfinals.
