Tony Khan has announced that an AEW star has will miss tonight’s Dynamite due to illness, with their replacement being confirmed.
Tonight’s show will feature Samoa Joe defending the AEW World Championship against FTW Champion HOOK, among other big matches, but one popular voice won’t be on hand to call the show.
Taking to Twitter, Tony Khan announced that Tony Schiavone will miss tonight’s show due to illness, with Ian Riccaboni instead filling in for him alongside Excalibur and Taz.
Tony Khan tweeted:

The show will also feature Deonna Purrazzo’s first Dynamite match as a signed AEW wrestler, when she takes on Anna Jay.
Also set for the show is a ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship match between Brian Cage & the Gates of Agony taking on Bullet Club Gold’s Jay White and the Gunns.
Austin Gunn has previously announced that the group will debut their new entrance music on the show.
