AEW Star Provides Update On Injury Status

AEW star Kris Statlander has given an ancillary update to her injury status, in a chat that was really about Halloween!

In an interview with Hollywood Life, Statlander said of what she has been up to this October:

“Mostly just recovering from my knee surgery. Getting stronger and getting myself ready to get back in the ring. It’s unfortunately the only thing I can really focus on right now, and I just want to heal as best as I can.”

Statlander also went on to share not only a Halloween playlist but also a hilarious story about a childhood Halloween costume.

Statlander opened up about the worst Halloween costume she ever had, saying:

“In like, first or second grade, I was in dance, and we did a routine to a song called ‘Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes,’ we were all dressed as giant tomatoes.

“My mom forced me to reuse the costume by having my grandma see red beads onto it to make it a strawberry for Halloween.

“I told her I hated it, and I cried all day and it was the worst day of my life.”

Kris Statlander may still be out of action due to injury but AEW fans were able to catch a glimpse of the star recently.

Statlander joined the Best Friends at ringside to celebrate Orange Cassidy’s All Atlantic Championship win after AEW Dynamite went off the air.
