Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa has expressed interest in working with Mercedes Mone following her debut.
At AEW Big Business, former WWE and IWGP Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone made her long-awaited debut in All Elite Wrestling.
In front of her hometown of Boston, the former Sasha Banks talked about her journey in pro wrestling and ended the night making the save for Willow Nightingale against Skye Blue and TBS Champion Julia Hart.
In interviews since then, Mone has dubbed herself the CEO and is looking to bring the company to a global level.
On the latest edition of Busted Open, former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa was asked about Mercedes Mone’s arrival. She answered:
“There is a lot of hope that she is going to be a member who brings a difference in the locker room and everything she has accomplished for who she is.”
“She definitely has a lot of influence in the world of entertainment. I think a lot of people are eager to work with her. I include myself.”
“When you have players like that coming into the arena, it will be interesting to see if she will be able to say and do what she said, which is a revolution. I’m excited for it,”
Mercedes Mone is set to appear for her second promo in the company on tonight’s March 20 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Meanwhile, Thunder Rosa will team with Deonna Purrazzo against Mariah May and AEW Women’s World Champion Timeless Toni Storm on tonight’s show as well.
