The rumours of backstage chaos in All Elite Wrestling have been the talk of the wrestling world in the past week, with several talents reportedly at ‘breaking point’.
The reports came after reports of real-life issues between CM Punk and Hangman Adam Page, which led to Punk unexpectedly calling out Hangman on last week’s Dynamite show, which was said to have caught a lot of people off guard.
Tonight’s AEW Dynamite show is set to take place in Cleveland, Ohio, and is set to feature the big AEW World Championship unification match between CM Punk and Jon Moxley, which was reportedly a last minute decision.
That’s not the only thing set to take place in Cleveland tonight, as Fightful Select (subscription required) is noting that a mandatory talent meeting is set to take place ahead of tonight’s show in Cleveland.
Fightful notes that Tony Khan will be present at the meeting, but not many details are known beyond that. The talent in AEW expect it to address some of the rumors of unrest, contract inquiries, and personal issues, as well as those things being leaked. However, they have not been given any firm details on what to expect from the meeting.
While the meeting is reportedly mandatory for the talent, there are also a lot of talent who weren’t brought in for this set of tapings and won’t be at the show.
