Julia Hart’s Next AEW TBS Championship Challenger Revealed

On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite dubbed the Homecoming edition of the show, a big match that teased a new title challenger.

In a massive eight-woman match on AEW Dynamite that saw ‘Brodie Lee’s handpicked protege’ Anna Jay teaming up with Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander, and Willow Nightingale taking on the team of Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Saraya, and Ruby Soho.

While it was Anna Jay that would end up picking up the pinfall victory (as had Brodie Lee’s other handpicked protege in an earlier eight-man match, Preston Vance) for her team.

However, during the match and after, there was clearly bad blood between Julia Hart and Anna Jay.

Anna Jay has been making moves in the singles division as of late, picking up four wins out of her last six matches.

Later on Twitter, it was confirmed that Anna Jay would be challenging Julia Hart for the TBS Championship on this week’s AEW special Battle of the Belts airing after AEW Collision on Saturday, January 13.

Elsewhere in the AEW Women’s division, new signee Deonna Purrazzo is set to make her AEW Collision debut this week.
