AEW star Dante Martin made his in-ring return on tonight’s AEW Dynamite and secured a win after being out with injury for eight months.
Dante Martin joined brother Darius Martin (together, the tag team Top Flight) and Action Andretti in a trios match tonight.
Dante Martin picked up the pinfall victory over Brother Zay (Isiah Kassidy) who was teaming with another legendary pair of professional wrestling brothers, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy.
Dante Martin returned after having suffered a broken leg to rejoin his brother Darius and ally Action Andretti.
The gruesome injury came during a match at Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor in the ‘Reach for the Sky’ Ladder Match in honor of Jay Briscoe to determine the next ROH Tag Team Champions.
After a ladder spot went wrong, Dante Martin appeared to have his leg twisted in an unnatural position after doing a flip onto stacked tables.
The clip was shown on tonight’s AEW Dynamite with a warning ahead of it due to the graphic nature of the injury.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, MJF mentioned both CM Punk and WWE in a promo ahead of his match against Samoa Joe at Worlds End.
