AEW Star Reacts To Real-Life Brother Joining WWE Faction WWE/AEW

AEW star Rush has shared his reaction to his real-life brother joining a WWE faction during this week’s episode of SmackDown.

During Friday’s show, Rey Mysterio confronted Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio, challenging the duo to a tag-team match at WWE WrestleMania 40.

When asked who his tag-team partner would be, Mysterio announced that he’ll team with the newest member of the Latino World Order (LWO) faction, Dragon Lee.

Rush, the leader of La Faccion Ingobernables in AEW, has now taken to Instagram to send a message to Lee following his brother becoming an official member of the LWO.

Sharing Dragon Lee’s tweet sharing photos of himself with his new stablemates, Rush wrote:

👏🏼👏🏼 very proud of you brother 👊🏿

Dragon Lee has been an ally to Rey Mysterio for a while, with the luchador officially joining SmackDown in October 2023 after a number of main roster appearances.

Another big match was confirmed for WrestleMania 40 on SmackDown, with Jade Cargill set to team with Bianca Belair and Naomi to face off against Asuka, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai at next week’s event.
