To close tonight’s WWE SmackDown, it seems that another WrestleMania 40 match may have been revealed featuring Jade Cargill.
UPDATE: WWE has now confirmed this match is official.
After earlier in the show making her first appearance on SmackDown since officially signing with the blue brand, Jade Cargill would make another appearance to close out the night.
In the main event match of SmackDown, Bianca Belair picked up a win over Dakota Kai.
However despite the official win, she was shortly thereafter attacked by the Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane and Asuka) as the numbers advantage continued to give Damage CTRL the upper-hand.
Despite a momentary comeback when Naomi joined Belair in the fight, the pair would eventually be laid out by the dastardly faction although the show wasn’t over yet.
Jade Cargill made an entrance, walking with purpose to the ring and taking on all three members of Damage CTRL single-handedly.
Taking out Asuka, Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane, Jade even demonstrated her signature pin on Sane to punctuate her arrival on SmackDown.
SmackDown ended with Damage CTRL on the outside of the ring with Naomi, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair standing tall in the ring, positioned in front of the WrestleMania sign, signfying the rumored six-woman tag match will indeed be happening.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE SmackDown, two more matches were confirmed for the big events next weekend.
