Real Reason AEW Star Was At WWE Raw Revealed

More details have emerged on AEW star Matt Hardy attending Monday’s (March 18) edition of Raw, with rumors swirling about Matt’s next move.

Matt’s wife Reby Hardy confirmed that the duo attended this week’s WWE Raw show in North Carolina with a video she shared on social media.

With Matt’s AEW contract set to expire soon, it has been speculated that Matt is in contact with WWE.

Per Fightful Select, Matt Hardy was just visiting, and didn’t have a meeting with WWE.

The report noted that a friend of Reby’s invited the couple to sit in their suite at the PNC Arena for the show. They reportedly visited for around 90 minutes.

Fightful Select confirmed that Matt Hardy is still under contract with AEW.

Matt previously confirmed that his AEW contract is set to expire this month. He has only competed in one match so far in 2024, though he regularly wrestled throughout 2023.
