AEW Stars React To Saraya’s Brother’s Debut AEW

Chris Jericho was among the AEW stars who reacted to Zak Knight, the brother of Saraya’s, AEW debut on Wednesday December 20.

Zak Knight made his debut in a match that took place before that evening’s AEW Dynamite facing Peter Avalon.

As previously reported, the match took place with the ROH ring apron and a cameraman present, though it wasn’t known whether it would be used for ROH on HonorClub.

Kip Sabian shared his support of Zak Knight after his debut match saying that it would be on HonorClub, tweeting:

“Yo, @TheZakZodiac killed it last night for @ringofhonor. 👏🏻

“You’re going to want to watch it when it’s on Honor Club!

“Proud Norfolk lad 👊🏻”

Sabian was trained by the Knight family in WAW (World Association of Wrestling) and was in the first ever singles match in AEW history at Double or Nothing in 2019.

Saraya also sent a message to her brother through Twitter, tweeting:

“Couldn’t be prouder of my brother and his ROH debut. You absolutely killed it @TheZakZodiac and made the arena fall in love with you.

“They went wild for you and I cried watching you finally get the opportunity you’ve spent years to get and never gave up. ITS TIME!

“Thank you to @TonyKhan @AEW for giving him this opportunity! Forever thankful.

“Let’s fucking go Zak!!! 🥹🥹”

For Chris Jericho it was the first time he’d seen Knight in action and he would tweet:

“I agree! First time I’ve seen his work and I thought he kicked ass!”

This message came in response to a fan who noted that Knight “looked really good” in the ring.

Saraya has previously spoken about Knight being a missed opportunity for WWE, revealing that he had been promised a dark match by Tony Khan.
