Aleister Black Responds To WrestleMania Match Challenge

Popular WWE star Aleister Black has responded to a WrestleMania match challenge after an almost 6 month hiatus.

Last week, Murphy took to social media to state that he wants to battle Aleister Black in April. Not only has Black responded, he’s added to the speculation with his intriguing reply.

Retweeting Murphy’s original request, Black reacted to Murphy’s tweet with a photo of his own wrestling gear. Black didn’t caption the tweet, the image of his kickpads and leather jacket did all the talking.

Here is the tweet:

Black and Murphy had a great series of matches towards the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020. Their TLC 2019 encounter was largely praised for having such an entertaining match conclusion.

Aleister Black hasn’t wrestled since October last year. He was transferred to SmackDown shortly after his no disqualifications match with Kevin Owens, but is yet to compete on the Blue Brand since his move.

He recently left a cryptic message on Instagram, teasing his return to WWE. A recent report outlined why Black has been absent for so long, discussing his and Murphy’s respective WWE futures.
