This week on Smackdown, Aleister Black said he will be waiting at WWE Extreme Rules for the man who knocked on his door to reveal himself.
Many people saw this as confirmation that the former NXT Champion would be having his return match at the upcoming pay-per-view against a surprise opponent.
However, WWE has revealed that we won’t need to wait until Sunday to find out who has been chosen to face Black. A tweet sent out yesterday confirmed that Aleister Black’s opponent for Extreme Rules will be revealed on Tuesday night’s Smackdown.
And, finally, who is the one who knocks? @WWEAleister's #ExtremeRules opponent will be revealed this Tuesday on #SDLive! https://t.co/GkeKeI6lSE

WWE.com’s article had the following to say on the matter:
For weeks, Aleister Black has been begging for someone on SmackDown LIVE to knock on his door and pick a fight with him. Finally, someone answered the call two weeks ago, and this Tuesday night, the WWE Universe will discover just who it was.
Who will step to The Dutch Destroyer at WWE Extreme Rules? Tune-in to SmackDown LIVE this Tuesday night to find out!
WrestleVotes reported a few weeks back that Aleister Black would be wrestling at Extreme Rules and his opponent would be Raw superstar Cesaro. Unless plans have changed, expect to see the former United States Champion on Smackdown this week.
As of now, Aleister Black is scheduled to work Extreme Rules. I can’t 100% confirm his opponent, but as of earlier today WWE had decided on Cesaro. We’ll see.
