Backstage Reaction To Mark Carrano WWE Departure

A recent report has revealed the reactions of WWE talent to the recently reported WWE release of Mark Carrano.

The big story of last night and today has been the departure of Mark Carrano, who had been with WWE for many years, mainly working in talent relations.

According to a new report, a lot of WWE talent saw this firing coming. Fightful Select (subscription required) are reporting that a lot of WWE stars were in favor of Carrano’s departure.

A source did reportedly note that he will probably end up back with the company, as he knows “where too many bodies are buried”. The implication was that Carrano knows too many WWE secrets for the company to want to completely burn bridges.

According to Fightful Select, current WWE wrestlers and staff had watched Carrano’s power diminish in recent months. A lot of the talent reportedly saw Carrano as a “fall guy”, and pondered the possibility of Carrano being used as a scapegoat.

Reports of Carrano’s release broke soon after Mickie James revealed that her WWE belongings were returned to her in a garbage bag. A number of other stars revealed that they also had their possessions returned to them in this manner after leaving WWE.
