Bandido ROH World Championship Match Set For Terminus

There have been some conflicting announcements made regarding future ROH World Championship defences.

The originally scheduled main event of the December 11 Final Battle pay-per-view involved Jonathan Gresham challenging Bandido for the ROH World Championship.

Due to Bandido testing positive for COVID-19 ahead of the event, Gresham ultimately faced Jay Lethal in the headline pay-per-view match, defeating the AEW star to win the seemingly-vacant ROH World Title.

Terminus, Jonathan Gresham’s new promotion, has now announced that Bandido will defend his ROH World Championship against Baron Black during the January 16 debut show:

In the above graphic, Bandido holds the latest ROH World Title design. Gresham was awarded an original design of the title at Final Battle, which he promised to defend during ROH’s hiatus.

Gresham defended the gold at GCW Blood on the Hills earlier this month, and has scheduled defences announced for ‘The Wrld Of GCW’, IMPACT Hard To Kill, and now GCW Say You Will:

With ROH planning to return from its hiatus in April for a Supercard of Honor show, it has been speculated that Bandido and Gresham will square off during the promotion’s return show for an undisputed ROH World Championship.
