Bayley Addresses Possibility Of Joining Mercedes Mone In Japan WWE/NJPW

WWE star Bayley has addressed the possibility of her joining her friend Mercedes Mone in Japan.

The former ‘Sasha Banks’ has been wrestling for Bushiroad companies NJPW and STARDOM since returning to wrestling this year, following her WWE exit.

While Bayley has been vocal about her desire to reunite with Mercedes Mone in the ring would it be in WWE, or in Japan?

Speaking with Inside The Ropes, Bayley noted that she doesn’t think her body would allow her to work at the intensity of the Japanese style of wrestling.

When asked if she’d consider following Mone to Japan, Bayley said:

“I think what she’s doing is incredible, but I don’t know if I’d be able to do it. That Japanese style is intense. I’m a little too old for that.

“She can go ahead and do all that. She’s braver than I am. She’s way more athletic than I am. So she can do all that stuff, and I’ll support her the whole time.

“If something were to happen and I was able to go experience different things like that, we’ll see. But right now, my body will say no.”

Bayley previously noted that she often begs Mone to return to WWE.

At Money in the Bank 2023, Bayley’s Damage CTRL tag partner IYO SKY won the women’s ladder match, after handcuffing Bayley and Becky Lynch together.

In an exclusive interview with WrestleTalk, Bayley shared a message for Mercedes Mone, which you can read more about right here.
