NJPW
Bayley has commented on the possibility of Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) returning to WWE, following her recent stints with NJPW and STARDOM.
Mone last appeared for WWE in May 2022, before walking out on an episode of Raw.
After her WWE contract expired, Mone made an appearance at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January, and has been wrestling for Bushiroad promotions NJPW and STARDOM since then.
Many have called for the former WWE Women’s Champion to return to the company soon.
Speaking with Gorilla Position, Bayley noted that she ‘begs her every day’ to make a WWE comeback.
When asked if she has had a conversation with her friend about a potential WWE return, Bayley said:
“I beg her every day. I beg her every… You know what, it doesn’t matter where it is, it doesn’t matter how it happens, I would love to one day step back into the ring with her.
“Whether it’s teaming with her, whether it’s against her, but right now I just want whatever happiness she needs to feel, whatever she needs, accomplish her dreams, accomplish her goals, I’m just happy to see her happy.”

Mone is currently out of action after suffering a broken ankle in her NJPW STRONG Women’s Title bout against Willow Nightingale at NJPW STRONG Resurgence 2023.
A trailer for a new movie featuring Mone was recently released, sharing the first look at Mone as Nikita, who is described as ‘a blade wielding company pit-bull and chief of security.’

Bayley is set to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match at the July 1 premium live event.
