WWE star Becky Lynch has explained why she sent a copy of her book to her husband Seth Rollin’s WrestleMania 40 opponent, firing shots at Drew McIntyre.
With Drew McIntyre set to challenge for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, McIntyre has been finding any opportunity to take a shot at Rollins online ahead of the event.
McIntyre recently took to Twitter to taunt Seth Rollins after Becky Lynch sent him a copy of her new memoir “Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl”.
Lynch has now addressed this, explaining why she sent her husband’s rival a copy of her book.
Firing some shots of her own, Lynch said:
“Oh, I sent that to him so he’d know what a good wrestling biography looks like….. not that anyone even knows he wrote one.”
Drew McIntyre’s “A Chosen Destiny: My Story” was released in April 2021.
While Lynch has recently been celebrating the release of her book, the popular star has also been preparing for her own WrestleMania match.
Lynch is set to challenge for Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Title at the April 6-7 event.
Seth Rollins has two matches scheduled for WrestleMania, with the World Heavyweight Champion set to team with Cody Rhodes to face off against Roman Reigns and the Rock ahead of his title defence against Drew McIntyre.
