Things infamously got heated between Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair on the October 22 episode of SmackDown during their title exchange segment.
The real life issues between the two have since come to light, with Lynch recently commenting on the rumours, where she admitted that her and Charlotte don’t talk anymore.
It was also reported earlier in the week that WWE would use the real-life heat between the two women to build to their match at Survivor Series, and that was certainly the case on last night’s (November 12) SmackDown show.
Charlotte Flair came to the ring for a promo, when Pat McAfee mentioned things getting ‘heated’ the last time the two women faced off. Charlotte then proceeded to cut a promo on Lynch, including a line about their being ‘nothing natural’ about her.
Lynch said a similar line in a promo to Charlotte in the lead-up to WrestleMania 35, which is where the alleged falling out between the two women took place, and Becky was quick to notice Flair’s comments, as she took to Twitter after the segment ended, simply saying:
“Hahahaha. Did Charlotte just say there’s nothing natural about ME?! That’s brilliant.”
The two champions are set to face off at Survivor Series on November 21 on the WWE Network and Peacock in the United States.
