Both Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey have taken time out to mock Becky Lynch and her “broken face” on social media today. It was perhaps inevitable then that Becky would fire back in style. And in true ‘The Man’ fashion, she has:

First targeting Nia Jax, who delivered the clumsy punch to Becky that put her out of the Survivor Series headliner, she said:

Becky was just getting warmed up. Next she fired shots in the direction of Rousey, keeping the cauldron brewing for a planned WrestleMania 35 showdown with the ‘Baddest Woman On The Planet’.

Lynch’s comments are a clear reference to the end of Ronda Rousey’s UFC career. Following her comprehensive knockout defeat to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, Rousey disappeared from the public eye for several months, refusing to speak to the media.

Rousey is known to be fairly sensitive when it comes to the subject so Lynch is playing with fire by pulling at that thread. It is great build up to the match, it is just a shame that we will likely have to wait another five months before we see it.
