WWE Raw Stars Trade Shots Online Ahead Of Major Match

An intense WWE rivalry has spilled out onto social media as two top stars have traded shots online ahead of an eagerly anticipated match on tonight’s August 14 Monday Night Raw.

After being reportedly set to take place at SummerSlam on August 5, the long-awaited blow-off match between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus is finally set to take place tonight in Winnipeg, Canada.

While Stratus has the home-field advantage, that seems to matter little to Lynch who took to Twitter to dress down the WWE Hall of Famer one last time.

Lynch wrote:

Put up or shut up time. Four months of bulls**t, hiding behind your muscle and running away any chance you can.

Tomorrow I remind the world and more specifically you, @trishstratuscom, who the real GOAT is. #WWERaw

Not to let the opportunity to bite back pass her by, Stratus later replied to Lynch calling into question The Man labelling herself the GOAT, while also suggesting that her win in Winnipeg will be easy, posting a humorous image referencing Lynch’s recent fascination with lemons on social media and on last week’s Raw.

Stratus tweeted:

Hmmm…I pick shut up time – can you please already?? You’re complaining about the last 4 months?

Don’t worry! Last time I was in Winnipeg I beat someone in 4 seconds … and tomorrow I’ll make quick work of you too.

Just. Like. That. Dem GOAT tingz…

Its currently unclear whether this will be the last we see of Stratus on this particular run with the company, which has been the most active the seven-time women’s champion has been since retiring from full-time competition in 2006.
