The direction of the World Heavyweight Championship was made clear on last week’s episode of Raw, when Champion Seth Rollins was left laying by Shinsuke Nakamura after their six-man tag team victory.
Nakamura had been undergoing a shift in character in recent weeks, with him subbing in for Sami Zayn in last week’s main event.
Nakamura entered the match after already picking up a victory over Bronson Reed earlier in the night.
Ahead of tomorrow night’s show, WWE has advertised an angle featuring Nakamura, here he will ‘explain his actions’ for attacking the champion.
Monday Night Raw saw WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura defeat The Judgment Day, but what happened afterward shocked the WWE Universe and the champion.
Nakamura blindsided Rollins with a surprise Kinshasa, and we’ll find out why he did it this Monday Night on Raw on USA at 8/7 C!
Also set for the show is the long awaited clash between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus, which was cut from SummerSlam due to time constraints.
