Bianca Belair Opens Up About WWE Star Taking Her Under Their Wing

At WrestleMania 36, Bianca Belair was surprisingly called up to the main roster when she saved Street Profits from a two-on-three attack at the hands of Angel Garza, Austin Theory and Zelina Vega.

For those that don’t know, Belair is great on the mic and even better in the ring. As such, many fans were excited to how the “EST of NXT” would be booked on the main roster.

Unfortunately, it seems as if Bianca has already been forgotten on Monday Night Raw. The former NXT star has not appeared on WWE TV for either a match or promo segment in a number of weeks now.

There is no word on why Belair hasn’t appeared on TV, unlike Shayna Baszler, who Vince McMahon has reportedly soured on since her main roster call-up earlier this year.

During a recent interview with FOX Sports, Bianca Belair has opened up about working with fellow Raw star Nia Jax, and stated that Jax took her under her wing:

“Well first, my coach at the Performance Center, Sara Amato, she’s taught me everything. [laughs] But as far as the superstars, I will say — when I first got into the Performance Center Nia Jax was, she was the one that actually took me under her wing. You know, she kind of like — she didn’t hold my hand throughout the process. But she really just made sure [and] let me know, ‘I see something in you. I see that you have it, just make sure you’re this, this and this.’ Kind of guiding me along the way. Ember Moon, when she was in NXT, whenever we got in the ring together. We did a lot of live events together. I learned so much from being in the ring with Ember. She’s so talented, she’s a veteran, she has so much experience. I learned a lot of psychology from her. Learned how to listen to the crowd from her.”

Belair also name-dropped Ember Moon. I’m sure many fans would love to see a match-up between Ember and Bianca once Moon has recovered from her injury.

During the same interview, Belair also noted that despite being on Raw, she’d like to return to NXT before the end of her wrestling career and win the Women’s title. You can read more about that by clicking here.
