Former NXT Star Biff Busick Returns To WWE Performance Center WWE

Former NXT and 205 Live star Biff Busick (Oney Lorcan) is back at the WWE Performance Center this week.

Per PWInsider, Busick is acting as a guest coach for the next few days. Santana Garrett recently returned to the WWE PC for a similar role.

Busick wrestled under contract with WWE from 2015 to 2021. During his stint with the company, Busick won the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Danny Burch.

The duo won the gold in October 2020 and were forced to vacate the title in March 2021 after Danny Burch suffered a shoulder injury.

On November 4, Busick was released from his WWE contract. He returned to the independent scene in February before facing AEW’s Jon Moxley at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 8 in a match that many considered a highlight of WrestleMania 38 week.

Some have speculated that Busick’s appearance could result in him officially re-joining WWE. Since Triple H took over creative in late July, a number of previously released stars have made their returns, including Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai and Dexter Lumis.

Over 20 names have finished up with WWE this year. Check out a list of every WWE departure of 2022 at this link.
