Big Change Announced For WWE WrestleMania 40 WWE

A big change from the norm has been announced for the arrangements during this weekend’s WWE WrestleMania 40 event.

The show will feature 13 matches across two nights – seven on the first night and six on the second.

Usual protocol for WrestleMania weekend would have been for the WWE Raw and SmackDown ring announcers, Samantha Irvin and Mike Rome respectively, to share announcing duties.

Typically, Irvin would have announced for the Raw branded matches, and Rome would have done so for the SmackDown matches.

However, it sounds like that won’t be the case this time around.

It was reportedly revealed at WaleMania that Irvin will actually be ring announcing every single match throughout both nights of WrestleMania.

There’s no word on why that’s the case, but we’ll keep you posted if there’s anything specific that comes out.

Irvin did give a couple of performances at WaleMania but had to hold back to save her voice for WrestleMania itself.

One of her performances included a rendition of Razor Ramon’s theme music featuring a flute, which you can see below.

WrestleMania 40 night one will be main evented by The Rock & Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins, with the result determining whether Reigns vs Rhodes on night two will be ‘Bloodline Rules’ or have the Bloodline completely banned from getting involved.
