Bobby Fish Provides Update On Kyle O’Reilly’s Recovery AEW

With Roderick Strong now signed to AEW, fans have once again speculated about a potential run for the Undisputed Era in the company.

Kyle O’Reilly has been out of action for almost a year due to neck fusion surgery, with no return date in sight for the former NXT star.

In an update from Kyle’s former partner Bobby Fish, who recently spoke to Nick Hausman of Inside The Ropes, Kyle’s rehab is ‘on an uptick’.

He said:

“Kyle’s doing good, good recovery, rehab is, is on an uptick. He’s he’s doing better, but this is a slow recovery. I mean, I think the procedure and stuff Kyle had done was a long time coming.

“You know, he’s tougher than nails. So what became his normal for years, what he put up with on a daily basis, and we being three of his closest friends, you know, probably saw as much of it outside of his wife, you know, we saw more of it than anyone else. So I think it was overdue.

“I just want him to have full recovery for his life, you know, screw wrestling, just for his life. They got a new baby girl, she’s beautiful. And, you know, he’s living that dad life right now. So just happy for him.”

Roderick Strong is set to face off against Chris Jericho in a Falls Count Anywhere match on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
