Bobby Lashley has commented on the scary rope break that occurred during his match at a recent WWE house show.
During Lashley’s match against Drew McIntyre at this week’s Newcastle live event, the top rope snapped while the All Mighty was rebounding. Several fans have shared footage of Lashley spilling to the outside after the malfunction.
On Twitter, ECW legend Tommy Dreamer shared an edit of the incident, noting that he hopes Lashley is okay.
Believing he has now proven his toughness, Lashley replied:
…and some of y’all think I’m not the toughest guy in @WWE ????
Lashley and McIntyre ultimately finished the match after the ring was safe to continue, with McIntyre picking up the victory. The All Mighty was in action the following night, defeating Sheamus during the London O2 Arena show.
The former WWE Champion is scheduled to face Omos at WrestleMania Backlash next Sunday. Check out the full card for the Premium Live Event right here.
