Brandi Rhodes Reveals Interesting Role At WWE SummerSlam AEW

As reported last week, Brandi Rhodes may be heading towards a return to WWE after having a match at the WWE Performance Center, and we’ve also now learned that she had an interesting role at this year’s WWE SummerSlam show.

Outside of being an in-ring performer, Brandi is on the board of KultureCity, a company which provides sensory inclusivity for fans who have trouble processing sensory information when attending large events.

Taking to Twitter, Brandi revealed the company had worked with WWE for SummerSlam, and she hopes the relationship can continue.

She tweeted:

It wasn’t heavily advertised, but @kulturec was also at SummerSlam this year. I orchestrated that relationship as well. I still serve as a KultureCity board member. I hope the relationship with WWE continues so more wrestling fans with sensory needs can enjoy shows 💛

AEW also has a close partnership with KultureCity, and Brandi spoke in depth about the relationship during the Road to Double or Nothing series back in 2019.

She said:

“Sensory inclusive events cater towards people who have trouble processing sensory information when they are at large events. Loud noises, strong smells, anything that can trigger them to have negative reactions. It includes people with autism, PTSD, strong anxiety, even people who have suffered recent strokes. Our staff will be fully prepared to take care of and field anything that happens to anyone dealing with these issues. We want to make sure they are all welcome to come and that they have a great time at our events.”
