Braun Strowman Calls WWE NXT Star “The Future”

Taking to social media during last night’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network, current Monday Night Raw star Braun Strowman was full of praise for a member of the black and gold brand’s roster.

During the show, the former Universal Champion who is currently out with a kayfabe suspension tweeted that Raquel Gonzalez is “the future”:

This is certainly not a hot take from Braun Strowman, as Raquel Gonzalez has been praised heavily by fans and critics on social media for the improvements that she has made since aligning with Dakota Kai at the beginning of the year.

On last night’s show, it was confirmed that Raquel Gonzalez and former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley will have a Last Woman Standing match on the New Year’s Evil episode of NXT on January 6th.

Some have speculated that Raquel Gonzalez is eventually going to be the woman to take the NXT Women’s Championship away from Io Shirai, so that could be something that NXT explores in 2021.
