WWE References Braun Strowman Social Media Drama On SmackDown

After some questionable social media takes recently on Twitter, Braun Strowman had his words provided back to him tonight on SmackDown.

Whether or not he will be forced to eat them however remains to be seen as he rolls into the semi-final in the SmackDown World Cup.

Earlier when a match between Ricochet and Mustafa Ali determined that Ricochet would move forward in the tournament, an interesting match up was made.

Already qualified to move on to that semi-final was Braun Strowman.

After Strowman teamed with the New Day to take on Imperium, he came to the back where he took a question from Kayla Braxton.

While answering, he was interrupted by Ricochet who referenced their semi-final and then dropped a real life line.

Reminding Strowman that he shouldn’t sleep on all these “flippy flippers”, he would find out next week!

Notably, Strowman recently drew ire from fans and colleagues alike after making disparaging comments about those “flippy flopper” independent wrestlers types.

Ricochet, who is known for a significant career outside of WWE including independent wrestling throughout the world would fit the bill that Strowman accused on Twitter of being grocery baggers.
