The Fiend vs. Finn Balor Confirmed For SummerSlam

The challenges kept coming on Smackdown Live as Finn Balor challenged Bray Wyatt to a Match at SummerSlam.

Instead of Bray coming down to the ring, we got the return of The Firefly Fun House. Bray Wyatt played his Mr. Rogers-esque character and talked about what a fan he and the puppets were of Balor.

However, he stated The Fiend was not.

Wyatt warned Balor that while he may be an extraordinary man, The Fiend is no man, he is an abomination.

Wyatt then accepted the SummerSlam challenge on behalf of The Fiend, which will be the character’s official in-ring debut.

This match will be a send-off match for Balor,  who is taking some time off after SummerSlam.  

This should be a good way to put over The Fiend as a dangerous character. What happens after SummerSlam will be interesting to see.
