The status of Bray Wyatt in WWE has been in question over the past few months, with the former Universal Champion disappearing from television back in March.
The latest update on Bray came last week, when it was reported that he was ‘getting closer’ to being cleared for a return.
The illness that had kept Wyatt off television was said to have been ‘career and life threatening’, with Wyatt now said to be getting better.
Speaking to Sportskeeda, Wyatt’s father Mike Rotunda (IRS) spoke about his son’s absence, saying that he is ‘sure’ he will return to WWE, hopefully shortly.
He said:
“Well, you know, you read a lot of stuff on the internet, which I wouldn’t believe a lot of it or, in my case, any of it. Bray Wyatt, I’m sure, will return to WWE hopefully shortly, and we’ll go from there.”
Wyatt has had creative pitches made for his return, with some said to be pitched as soon as September.
