AEW star Britt Baker fuelled speculation surrounding MJF’s return to the promotion with a now-deleted social media post.
MJF hasn’t been featured on AEW TV since his worked shoot promo on the June 1 edition of Dynamite.
Baker shared a previous post of herself and MJF to her Instagram stories. She has since taken the story down, amid speculation.
MJF previously noted that Britt Baker would’ve been the only wrestler from the AEW roster he’d consider adding to The Pinnacle. Some have theorised that Baker and MJF will form an alliance when he returns to TV.
Per Dave Meltzer, those within AEW assume that MJF will come back, but don’t know for sure, as Tony Khan hasn’t confirmed the situation with the AEW locker-room.
The AEW President recently addressed rumors about unhappiness in the locker-room, believing that the overall vibe backstage is positive.
We will continue to provide updates on MJF’s status as they become available.
