Bryan Danielson Opponent Announced For AEW WrestleDream 2023 AEW

The opponent for Bryan Danielson at AEW WrestleDream 2023 has been revealed on tonight’s AEW Collision and it is certainly a dream match.

Tony Schiavone welcomed the American Dragon to the ring where he would go on to share a sentiment first expressed in the AEW All Out post-show media scrum.

He informed the crowd that he has promised his daughter that when she turned 7, which is next year, he would begin winding down his career.

Going on to say, if it was his last year eit would be the most epic one of his career.

Announcing that his plan was to begin taking what he wanted, he called his shot for the October 1 AEW WrestleDream 2023 pay-per-view.

Danielson said that he wanted to face the person who claimed to be the best technical wrestler in the world, naming Zack Sabre Jr.

It would be made official shortly thereafter that that NJPW World Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr would face Bryan Danielson at AEW WrestleDream 2023.

However before he could continue, he was interrupted by Ricky Starks and Big Bill as Starks declared that he wasn’t going to be cast aside any longer.

When Danielson countered that he wasn’t done yet, it almost seemed as though he would be offering Starks a spot in the Blackpool Combat Club.

Although before he could get to his point, he was attacked by Big Bill and Ricky Starks. Despite a run-out from Jon Moxley to try and make the save, he too fell victim to Big Bill.

Ricky Starks and Bill left victorious however their feud will not be over as a match was made official.

Jon Moxley will take on Big Bill on this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
