Carmella’s new sommelier (wine waiter) received a new name last night at the TLC pay-per-view during Carmella’s SmackDown Women’s Championship match with Sasha Banks during the show.
During the match, Akeem Young began being referred to as “Reginald Thomas” by the commentary team, with Corey Graves calling him “reggie” a few times during the match.
Some have speculated that the sommelier was only going to be on WWE TV for Carmella’s feud with Sasha Banks, but the fact that he has now has been given a new name makes it seem like this partnership is going to be a long-term one.
The match between Carmella and Sasha Banks was actually pretty good, and is probably Carmella’s best WWE match since joining the company way back in 2013.
