A major change to WWE’s broadcasting home in the United Kingdom has been announced, set to start next week.
In January 2020, WWE programming in the United Kingdom left Sky Sports after many years, moving over to BT Sport, which has since rebranded to TNT Sports.
The deal covered Raw, SmackDown and NXT, but that is seemingly set to change starting next week.
Per Metro UK, NXT will no longer be airing on TNT Sports as of the January 2 episode of the show, which will be the NXT New Year’s Evil special episode.
The show will once again revert to being aired live on the WWE Network on Tuesday nights, as it was prior to agreeing to a deal with the USA Network in 2019.
NXT being removed from TNT Sport does not reflect that of Raw and SmackDown, which are still set to remain on the channel.
NXT will also be moving homes in the United States in 2024, with the show set to air on the CW Network.
Next week’s show will feature an NXT Championship match between Ilja Dragunov and Trick Williams, as well as Lyra Valkyria defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Blair Davenport.
