While doing the media rounds to promote her new book, WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze (AKA Madusa) would lay out a challenge for a potential retirement match.
When listing names that she would like to stand across the ring from Blayze would tout Natalya, Beth Phoenix, Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair as potential opponents.
While the challenge had of yet gone unanswered by those names, it seems as if 14-time world champion Charlotte Flair may have finally stepped up to take the call.
In a recent interview with TVInsider Flair would declare herself willing and available for Blayze’s final match, Flair said:
“I would be honored to have her retirement match. That’s the first time I actually responded to the challenge. So here you go.”
Despite being retired from the ring for over twenty years, Blayze did appear at WWE’s first (and only) all women’s pay-per-view WWE Evolution in 2018, competing in a 20 women battle royal.
WWE has seen other Hall of Famer’s such as Trish Stratus and Lita heavily involved lately, so perhaps there’s a spot for Blayze also.
