Chelsea Green has reached a milestone as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion having won the titles on July 17, 2023.
Yesterday, on Twitter, Green celebrated 99 days as one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Jacy Jayne would take notice of the 99 day post, replying:
“Enjoy it while it lasts Karen.”
Along with demanding that the tweet be removed by Shawn Michaels, Green would follow up on a “high point” post with the following:
“Tomorrow, when I hit day 100 as your greatest tag team champion of all time 💁🏻♀️”
Day 100 is finally here for Green and it’s been confirmed on the official WWE title history website.
Green is currently the tag team champion alongside Piper Niven who pretty much just decided she was the other half of the team on the August 14, 2023 episode of WWE Raw.
This came after Green’s original tag team champion partner Sonya Deville suffered a torn ACL injury on July 28’s SmackDown.
Green and Deville won the titles from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on July 17, meaning Green and Deville were champions together from then until August 14, which is when the Niven officially replaced the injured Deville.
Green and Niven will defend the titles against the aforementioned Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail at NXT Halloween Havoc night two next Tuesday.
