Chris Jericho has been called out by fans on social media for falsely advertising a big match that Tony Khan booked for AEW Dynamite next week following the main event segment on this week’s show.
Next week, we are going to see all seven members of The Inner Circle team up to take on Best Friends, Brandon Cutler, Top Flight and The Varsity Blondes in a massive fourteen-man tag team match.
However, fans on social media have called out Chris Jericho for falsely advertising the match on Instagram, after the former AEW World Champion said it was the first-ever fourteen-man tag in wrestling history.
Fans were quick to point out, as can be seen from the screenshot from WrestlingInc below, that not only has a seven vs. seven match taken place before in WWE, Chris Jericho was actually part of it at SummerSlam 2010.
Chris Jericho has since edited the Instagram post caption to say this is the first seven on seven tag team match in AEW history, which is a true statement.
