Details On CM Punk Backstage At WWE NXT

Details of emerged about CM Punk being backstage at tonight’s WWE NXT show following his appearance at the NXT Deadline event.

Punk made a surprise appearance at this past weekend’s NXT Deadline event in Bridgeport, where he and Shawn Michaels opened the show.

Punk’s appearance served as a way for him to appear on the NXT brand ahead of this week’s Raw, where he would decide which of the three brands he would opt to sign with, with Punk ultimately choosing Raw.

However, per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Punk is backstage at tonight’s NXT show at the WWE Performance Center.

It’s not known if Punk being backstage will mean that he will be appearing on the show, but he has said to have been watching matches with the talent, as well as giving them feedback.

On Raw, Punk announced himself as the next participant in the 2024 Royal Rumble match after a heated confrontation with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
