CM Punk Addresses Potentially Reconciling With Colt Cabana

CM Punk has commented on his relationship with Colt Cabana, and the possibility of the two one day reconciling.

Punk and Cabana had a rather public falling out several years ago, before both men would eventually both end up working for AEW.

Punk’s arrival in AEW led to the rumours that Tony Khan had Cabana moved away from AEW to ROH to appease him, which was the catalyst for the eventual issues with Punk and the Elite.

Speaking on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Helwani asked Punk if he would ever reconcile with Cabana.

He said:

“Probably not. He came up to me one time at a show, I was at the curtain watching the show and he came up to me and was like ‘can we talk so it’s not weird between us?’ and I said ‘I won’t ever talk to you without a lawyer present.

“Yeah. [The feeling’s still the same now] He caused all this dumb s**t, for no reason. I got the guy fired and he’s not been on TV forever.

“I applaud, I said this to Hangman, I get taking up for your friends, I get it, that’s commendable, I do that all the time, right or wrong, I’ll stand up for my f**king friends.

“But to go on national television to jeopardise a million dollar house that you haven’t ever drawn before, now you’re disrespecting me, this is my house, I drew that, not you. That’s egos, it’s what it is.”
