A top WWE star has replaced CM Punk following his torn triceps injury suffered in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
CM Punk took part in his first televised WWE match in a decade at the 2024 Royal Rumble match, where he ended up coming up short to Cody Rhodes in the final two.
During the match, Punk suffered a torn triceps injury, which is set to keep him out of action for a number of months and keep him out of WrestleMania 40.
Punk had originally been advertised for the Elimination Chamber event in Perth, but with him now out of action, he’ll likely no longer be featured on the show.
In an update, WWE has since updated the poster for the Chamber event in Perth, with Becky Lynch now being advertised for the show in the place of Punk.
Becky is featured alongside LA Knight, Logan Paul, Bianca Belair, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley and Seth Rollins.
The show is reportedly set to feature an Elimination Chamber match to determine Rhea’s challenger for WrestleMania.
