CM Punk has been replaced by a top WWE star following his triceps injury at the 2024 Royal Rumble premium live event.
Punk made his return to WWE back at Survivor Series in Chicago, his first appearance on WWE television in almost 10 years.
Punk wrestled his first match back in WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble, where he finished as the runner up behind eventual winner Cody Rhodes.
During the match, Punk suffered a torn tricep injury, which is set to keep him out of action for WrestleMania 40 and beyond.
Following his injury, Punk has now been officially replaced on the banner for the Raw brand on WWE.com, being replaced by Drew McIntyre.
Drew replacing Punk serves as a cruel irony, given McIntyre’s current character direction on television, and revelling in Punk losing out on his WrestleMania main event.
Elsewhere on the site, McIntyre was also added to the banner on the superstars page, with him, Liv Morgan and Jade Cargill replacing Chelsea Green, Raquel Rodriguez and Tiffany Stratton.
Also, 2024 Royal Rumble winner Bayley has replaced LA Knight on the banner for SmackDown.
A few of the banners on #WWE's website have been updated.
On the main 'Superstars' banner, Drew McIntyre has replaced Chelsea Green, Jade Cargill has replaced Raquel Rodriguez, and Liv Morgan has replaced Tiffany Stratton.
