AEW has confirmed the date of the highly anticipated rematch between Cody Rhodes and Malakai Black.
Black made his in-ring debut back on August 4 at AEW Homecoming, when he emphatically defeated Cody Rhodes. Black has since gone on to score decisive victories over Nightmare Family members Lee Johnson, Brock Anderson and Dustin Rhodes.
AEW confirmed on tonight’s Dynamite that Cody Rhodes will return to face Malakai Black in a rematch at the AEW Dynamite Grand Slam show in Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 22.
AEW also announced on tonight’s show that Adam Cole will make his AEW in-ring debut next week, taking on Frankie Kazarian.
