While Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan’ may be sleeping with the fishes, Cole Karter found his feet in All Elite Wrestling, with him receiving an FTW Championship match against Ricky Starks.
While Karter came up short in the match, he put in a decent showing against Starks, which may have earned him a potential deal with AEW.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), multiple AEW sources told Fightful this morning that Karter was ‘under an AEW deal’ following his showing in the match, with Karter telling some talent in AEW the news.
When Fightful asked around, they were told that it was likely a tiered deal, meaning he likely won’t receive the ‘All Elite’ graphic, but he is under a deal with the company.
Karter performed as Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan on NXT 2.0 prior to his WWE release due to a wellness policy violation. You can keep track of all WWE stars who departed the company in 2022 at this link.
