Cora Jade Returns To WWE After Five Months Away

Cora Jade Returns To WWE After Five Months Away WWE

On tonight’s WWE NXT Deadline premium live event on Peacock, Cora Jade returned after the end of the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match.

The first Iron Survivor Challenge match of the night was the women’s edition, which was Kelani Jordan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Fallon Henley vs. Blair Davenport vs. Lash Legend.

There were a series of impressive spots including Lash Legend picking up two points at once when she pinned both Tiffany Stratton and Fallon Henley at the same time.

Later, Tiffany Stratton would do her ‘Prettiest Moonsault Ever’ move off of the top of the Iron Survivor Challenge penalty box, taking out all of the match participants below, after she’d pushed Fallon Henley off the top of the box through the announce table.

In the end, Davenport picked up the victory with 3 pinfalls in the match.

She’ll now challenge Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT New Year’s Evil.

However when Valkyria came out to the entrance ramp to face off with Davenport, she was holding her title belt over her head when she was attacked from behind.

Running at her, knocking her down and then stealing her WWE NXT Women’s Championship belt for dramatic effect, a big return.

Cora Jade was back in NXT and was making no mistake about it, she’s coming for the NXT Women’s Title!

In a backstage interview segment, Cora Jade said that she gave the NXT women’s division some time off but she said she would announce her next move on Tuesday.

Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT Deadline, CM Punk opened up the show with an in-ring segment with Shawn Michaels. Find out what happened with that segment at this link.
