Dax Harwood Reveals Favorite Match After FTR Vs. Briscoes III ROH

Dax Harwood has revealed his favorite match after FTR vs. The Briscoes III.

Over the past eight years, FTR has put on a litany of classic tag team matches in WWE, AEW, ROH and NJPW. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler has faced a who’s who of great duos whether it be DIY, The Young Bucks and The Briscoes.

Their trilogy with Mark and Jay Briscoe in particular has been viewed as one of the best in wrestling history and Harwood has said on a few occasions the third match is his favorite FTR has ever had.

However, Dax Harwood took to social media to quote tweet NJPW’s post on FTR’s bout against Aussie Open for the IWGP Tag Team Championship from London, England in October 2022.

Noting that the match is his favorite the team has ever had after the finale with The Briscoes, Dax wrote:

FTR vs Aussie Open NJPW Tag Team Championship Match.

If FTR vs Briscoes III didn’t happen, this might be my favorite match we’ve ever had.

Drama, athleticism, physicality, willingness to win, all on display.

Give it a watch.

FTR are the current AEW World Tag Team Champions. They last successfully defended their gold against The Young Bucks at AEW All In London last month.

Harwood and Wheeler will defend their titles against Iron Savages in an open challenge on the September 16 edition of AEW Collision.

Meanwhile, Aussie Open are now officially signed to All Elite Wrestling. Both teams have teased a rematch earlier this year.

You can watch their first encounter on New Japan Pro Wrestling’s YouTube channel at this link.
